My fiance, Alex O'Nan, heard the new Sufjan album in Nashville last Friday with his friend Greg (from Foxhole) that some of ya'll know. I'm so jealous... Of Greg, because Sufjan personally handed it to him, and of Alex for getting to hear it. I have promised Alex that I have given up my crush on Sufjan... But my crush on Gregory Schirmer is still alive and well. I stood next to him at Double Decker this weekend while watching Wiley and Checkmates. Man... if only he had been wearing that olive green corderoy sport coat with the leather elbow pads...

sufjan stevens and his mysterious banjo-frailing gap-toothed "roboet" aura must be the most attractive thing in life. those pictures of him in front of the clouded wall, i'm not afraid to say, made me swoon, right here in wier hall. oh the joy of germy keyboards and a symphony of coughing and typing and sniffling. not to mention the people who whisper and think they are being quiet when actually they are talking near normal; there's nothing worse than those types.

Laura Atwood, first off, fiance? I had no idea. Congrats. Secondly, Greg from Foxhole is indeed a friend. Good guy, that guy. Man, Greg went the righteous way of getting the album. I have it, but all thanks to the good nature of illegal internet swapping. Though that is just to tithe me over until July.
Bethan, when I saw those pictures I was tempted to become a gay man.
